Brazil, Mexico face off in gold medal match

Brazil and Mexico will face off today at Wembley in the gold-medal Olympic football match.

South Korea became only the second Asian nation to win an Olympic men's football medal when they beat near neighbours Japan 2-nil in the bronze-medal match in Cardiff yesterday.

Korea, convincingly beaten by tournament favourites Brazil in the last four, had never previously progressed past the Olympic quarterfinals.
