Jamaica’s Kenneth Edwards put up a brilliant fight but lost 4-6 on final score to China’s Liu Xiaobo in Jamaica’s first Olympic Taekwondo event.

Edwards was placed in the +80 kilogram category.

His handlers had said they expected this to be a tough category, but were confident Edwards would have performed well.
