Five Jamaicans to compete in Stockholm Friday

Five Jamaican Olympians are listed on the provisional entry list for the DN Galan Diamond League Meeting in Stockholm, Sweden on Friday.

Among the Jamaican down to compete is national record holder Brigitte Foster-Hylton who will participate in the women’s 100-metre hurdles.

Foster-Hylton did not progress out of the heats at the London 2012 Olympics after hitting one of the hurdles and finished seventh.

Nesta Carter and Michael Frater are down to compete in the men’s 100-metres where they will take on American Ryan Bailey.

The other Jamaicans down to compete are national champion Leford Green in the men’s 400-metre hurdles and Sherone Simpson in the women’s 200 metres.
