CCFG delisted from Jamaica Stock Exchange

2012-08-15 13:59:44 | (0 Comments)

The securities of Capital & Credit Financial Group Limited (CCFG) have been delisted from the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE), effective Tuesday, August 14.

The primary reason cited for delisting is that all shares in CCFG have been acquired by Jamaica Money Market Brokers and therefore the company no longer satisfies the requirements of the JSE’s rule 411.

In a release the JSE pointed out that under rule 411 the Exchange may, in its discretion, delist or suspend trading in the securities of a listed company if the company fails or ceases to comply with any of the requirements of the listing agreement or where the company makes an application for delisting.

The board of CCFG passed a resolution on Tuesday to delist and thereafter made a formal application to the JSE, the release said.
