Five Jamaicans to compete in Stockholm today

London 2012 Olympic sprint relay gold medallists Nesta Carter and Michael Frater headline six Jamaicans down to compete at the DN Galan Diamond League meeting in Stockholm, Sweden today.

Carter and Frater will face off with American Ryan Bailey in the men’s 100-metre dash.

The race is scheduled to start at 1:50 p.m. Jamaica time.

London 2012 Olympic finalist Leford Green will be the first Jamaica in action.
He competes in the men’s 400-metre hurdles at 1:03 in the afternoon.

Sherone Simpson and Anneisha McLaughlin are down to run the women’s 200 metres at 1:25 p.m; while national record holder Brigitte Foster-Hylton competes in the women’s 100-metre hurdles at 2:05 p.m.
