Jamaica’s Shelly Ann-Fraser Pryce has beaten American Carmelita Jeter in the 100m Diamond League in Zurich.

Fraser-Pryce blasted from the blocks like a bullet in wet conditions and led the field from the very start.

Jeter who won the previous two encounters was placed second in 10.97

Her compatriot Allyson Felix was third in 11.02.

Jamaica’s Kerron Stewart was sixth in 11.25

The other Caribbean athlete, Kelly-Ann Baptiste of Trinidad and Tobago, was disqualified for a false start.
