Yohan Blake sets new meet record to win in Zurich

Jamaica’s Yohan Blake ran a blistering 9.76 seconds to set a new meet record in the 100m in the Diamond League in Zurich a short while ago.

America’s Tyson Gay who would have been Blake’s main contender was disqualified after a false start.

Nesta Carter equalled his season best to be placed second in 9.95.

America’s Ryan Bailey was third in 9.97.

The other Jamaican, Michael Frater was fifth in 10.04
