Police high command cautions officers in western Ja

2012-09-01 13:58:23 | (0 Comments)

The Police High Command is warning members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force who live and work in several western parishes to be on high alert.

The Constabulary Communication Network (CCN) says the warning to police personnel in Area One, which covers Westmoreland, Hanover, St James and Trelawny, comes in the wake of death threats that have surfaced.

CCN says threats are believed to be in retaliation to the fatal shootings of three men along Felicity Road in St James last week.

The High Command says the threats must be taken seriously and urged members to take extra precaution as they carry out their duties and go about their daily lives.
