Jenni Campbell returns as PAJ president

The Gleaner’s managing editor, Jenni Campbell, has been returned as president of the Press Association of Jamaica (PAJ).

Miss Campbell was re-elected during the PAJ’s annual general meeting held at its headquarters in St Andrew, this morning.

Addressing members after the re-election, Miss Campbell vowed to do all in her power to improve the image of the 69-year-old organisation nationally and internationally.

Miss Campbell is joined on the executive by fellow journalists Archibald Gordon, who was elected first vice president; and Arthur Hall who will serve as second vice president.

The Jamaica Observer’s Ingrid Brown was elected secretary, while RJR news editor Ceila Morgan was re-elected treasurer along with RJR reporter, Rohan Powell as assistant secretary/treasurer.

Sports journalist, Audley Boyd; attorney and broadcaster, Helene Coley-Nicholson and RJR’s Group head of news, Milton Walker were elected as directors.
