The police in St Catherine are now trying to ascertain the identity of the body of a male that was found in the Rio Cobre, this morning.

The Bog Walk Police say about 10:00 a.m. passersby saw the body and summoned them.

Upon their arrival, the body was spotted in an area commonly called "Prim Rock".

When The Gleaner visited the location scores of persons had converged.

The naked body was still in the water face down.

The incident has resulted in a huge traffic pile-up.
