St. Catherine wanted man killed

A man who was listed as one of the most wanted men in the St. Catherine South Division was yesterday killed by the police.

He is 21-year-old Delano Bethune, otherwise called 'Jazzy P', of Central Village in St. Catherine.

The Constabulary Communications Network (CCN), said he was shot by the police along East Street in Greenwich Town, Kingston 12, about 9 a.m. yesterday.

The circumstances which led to the shooting have not been disclosed but the police say a revolver and two cartridges were seized in the incident.

CCN said the matter has since been reported to the Independent Commission of Investigations.
