Parliament resumes next week

The Portia Simpson Miller-chaired cabinet returned to work today.

The meeting of the Cabinet was preceded by a meeting of the Council of Ministers earlier in the day.

In the meantime, Parliament will return from the summer break next week.

A media release from Gordon House said the House of Representatives will next meet on Tuesday, September 11 at 2 p.m.

Parliamentarians have been on summer break since August 2.
