NewsGas prices down 58 cents tomorrow2012-09-05 17:11:39 | (0 Comments)
After nine straight weeks of increases, there will be a cut in the prices of gasolene.
Over the 9-week period, gasolene prices rose by a total of $11.24. However, today the Petroeum Corporation of Jamaica (Petrojam) announced a $0.58 cut in the prices. Petrojam said this is because of a downward movement in the US Gulf Reference prices. As a result, a litre of E10-87 gasolene will sell for $106.92, while E10-90 will be sold for $108.15 per litre. However, the prices of all other petroleum products have been increased. A litre of automotive diesel oil will go up by $0.86 to sell for $108.15. The price of kerosene will move up by $0.30 with that fuel to sell for $110.15 per litre. Meanwhile, a litre of propane cooking has been increased by $1.85 and will be sold for $35.41. Butane will go up by $0.71 to sell for $50.63 per litre. The changes in the prices of petroleum products will take effect tomorrow. Retailers will add their mark-ups to the announced prices. editorial@gleanerjm.com Source: The Gleaner/Power 106 News Send your images, videos and updates to youreport@gleanerjm.com | Click here to Comment Your Comments
