Police personnel are now in a section of Central Village, St Catherine called Zambia following the shooting of three people, one fatally, late this evening.

The police say around 8:15 p.m gunmen went on a rampage, killing a woman so far identified only as 'Good Girl' and wounding two other people.

The gunmen are said to have been armed with AK-47 rifles.

It's reported that the three people were hit shortly after the gunmen shot out the street lights in the vicinity.

On Saturday three men, two of them brothers, were shot dead in the community of Big Lane, also in Central Village.
