A pregnant woman identified as 19-year-old Channelle Davis was among four persons shot and killed in St. James last night.

The police say the woman, who was nine months pregnant was shot several times and killed by unknown assailants, at a Jerk Centre in the Spring Mount area of the parish.

It said 36-year-old Easton Chambers, the woman’s common-law husband, who was sitting with her and other friends at the Jerk Centre was also shot and killed.

Meanwhile, there was also another double murder in the parish last night at Granville, where 37-year-old Ashmara Plummer and 71-year-old Alvin Reid were shot and killed by gunmen while they were playing bingo.
