NewsDog Paw firearm trial put off to October 302012-09-06 18:42:20 | (0 Comments)
The firearm trial of reputed gang leader Christopher ‘Dog Paw’ Linton has been pushed back to October 30.
Linton is before the Gun Court on a charge of illegal possession of a firearm. When the matter was called up, the court was informed that the prosecution’s witnesses were unavailable. Linton’s was slapped with the firearm charge after his capture at a house in August Town, St Andrew in January last year. It’s reported that a joint police-military team had gone to the house to capture Linton, who had eluded several dragnets. It’s further reported that during a search, a firearm allegedly belonging to Linton was found in a refrigerator. Linton was subsequently arrested and charged with illegal possession of the firearm.
