NewsJamaica's youth march for sexual purity2012-09-07 10:34:58 | (0 Comments)
Hundreds of teenagers and young adults are expected to take to the streets of the Corporate Area on Saturday September 15 in an event dubbed the Love March.
It will involve participants from various schools, churches and professions marching for sexual purity. The march will start at Hope Gardens at 9.30 a.m. and culminate in a short concert at Mandela Park in Half-Way Tree consisting of prayer, worship and performances by Christian artistes. These will be interspersed with testimonies centred on deliverance from sexual sin. Daniel Thomas, the Public Relations Officer for Creative Counter Culture and 3R Youth, which are organising the march, said pornography and fornication are so prevalent they have become normalised and even promoted. He said this has resulted in a breakdown of the family structure and the erosion of values like integrity, respect and the intrinsic dignity of the human body. editorial@gleanerjm.com Source: The Gleaner/Power 106 News Send your images, videos and updates to youreport@gleanerjm.com | Click here to Comment Your Comments
