Man arrested for stolen vehicle parts

A man is now in police custody following the discovery of motor vehicle parts in Central Village, St Catherine this morning.

The police say the parts are believed to have been taken from vehicles which were stolen in the western end of the island.

They say two ballistic helmets, ammunition and items of police uniform were also found during the operation in the Windsor Heights community.

The police say the man was taken into custody as he was found in the vicinity of the location where the car parts were discovered.
