A Guardsman Armoured truck driver and a pedal cyclist were rushed to hospital earlier this afternoon after a collision on the Spanish Town Bridge in St Catherine which also involved a Honda motor car.
The police say the crash happened about 1:35p.m, when the armoured truck was travelling towards Spanish Town.
It is reported that upon reaching the bridge, the truck collided with the Honda motor car which was travelling towards Kingston.
The car then hit the pedal cyclist pinning him to the bridge.
The cyclist was eventually released with the help of passersby.
The driver of the truck and the cyclist were taken to hospital with broken limbs.
The crash resulted in a traffic pile up in the capital Spanish Town.
