2012-09-07 18:08:29 | (0 Comments)

Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz and the United States are now getting ready to face off in a CONCACAF World Cup qualifier at the National Stadium in Kingston.

The match gets underway at 7 o’clock.

The Reggae Boyz will be looking for their first-ever victory over the United States.

Head coach Theodore Whitmore thinks his players are ready to create history this time around.

Striker Ryan Johnson says the Reggae Boyz now have a good chance of defeating the Americans.

The United States players come into the match well below full strength.

Michael Bradley is out with a thigh injury while Landon Donovan will miss the match with a hamstring injury.

The United States and Jamaica lead Group A with four points after two matches, but the Americans have a better goal difference.

The teams meet again on Tuesday in Columbus, Ohio.
