Man shot dead at funeral in MoBay

WESTERN BUREAU:
A man was this afternoon gunned down outside the King's Chapel Church on Albion Road in Montego Bay, St James where he was attending a funeral.


It is understood that the man was inside the church when he received a telephone call.

Eyewitnesses say he exited the building, after which explosions were heard.

The man was seen running back inside the church with wounds to the upper part of his body.

He was taken to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
