Jamaica's head coach Theodore Whitmore had said that he and the Jamaica Football Federation have been in touch with Sterling and have invited the forward to the programme. Sterling was born in Kingston, before his family moved to England when he was five years old. The Liverpool youngster joins Tottenham Hotspur’s Jake Livermore and Adam Lallana of Southampton, in being selected to join Roy Hodgson’s men prior to their game against Ukraine tomorrow (September 11).
