The Parliament is to resume its sittings today, after being on summer break since August.

Leader of Government Business in the House of Representatives, Phillip Paulwell, said this parliamentary session will be a robust one, as the government will be bringing several pieces of legislations.

His opposition counterpart Delroy Chuck has scolded the Government saying the last parliamentary session was not as productive as it should have been.

However, Paulwell has rejected the claiming saying the government has been efficient in its handling of the country's parliamentary affairs.

Today, the Education Minister Ronald Thwaites is expected to lead the debate on the National Parenting Support Commission Act.

He is also to respond to questions tabled by his opposition counterpart Marissa Dalrymple Philibert regarding salaries and emoluments of personnel within his ministry.
