T&T soldiers set up camp

2012-09-11 17:10:33 | (0 Comments)

Trinidad and Tobago’s National Security Minister Austin “Jack” Warner says he has completed a plan to deal with the escalating crime in the country.

He says the plan will be sent to Prime Minister Kamla Persad Bissessar and the National Security Council.

In the meantime, Warner says soldiers will be setting up camp in Beverly Hill, the volatile Laventille area where four people were killed over the weekend.

He says the army will set up two patrol bases in the area and will be targeting gang leaders.
