Jamaica Employ begins application process

2012-09-12 17:17:12 | (0 Comments)

The Ministry of Labour has started accepting applications under the new Jamaica Employ programme.

On Monday, the Government and the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce signed a memorandum of understanding establishing the initiative, expected to create 40,000 new jobs.

The ministry said young, qualified unemployed professionals wishing to register with the ‘Jamaica Employ’ programme can send their resumes to the Ministry via email.

The email address is jamaicaemploymlss@gmail.com.

Those living in rural areas do not have access to personal computers, are being invited to visit the Ministry’s Parish Offices, where they will be assisted in submitting their resumes.

Interested individuals can also send their resumes to the ministry’s permanent secretary through the regular mail service.
