Water disruption for Corporate Area

2012-09-13 18:27:45 | (0 Comments)

The National Water Commission (NWC) is urging some Corporate Area communities to start storing water as they will soon experience disruptions in their supply.

The NWC says this is because of work being done under the Inter-American Development Bank-funded Kingston Metropolitan Area Water Supply Improvement Programme.

It says as a result, customers served by the Hope and Mona Water Treatment Plants in St Andrew will either be without water or experience low water pressure.

The communities which will be affected include Mona Heights, Mona Road, Hope Road, Liguanea, Ravinia, Beverly Hills, Hope Pastures, August Town, Papine, Kintyre, Hope Flats, Elletson Flats and Gordon Town.
