Sections of East Kingston under curfew

2012-09-14 08:54:46 | (0 Comments)

Sections of the Kingston eastern police division are currently under curfew.

The security measure was imposed by the police at 7 p.m. yesterday and is expected to remain in place until 6 p.m. tomorrow.

The boundaries of the curfew run along Marl Road, Harbour Road, Oliver Road, Warieka Road and St. Patrick Road.

The police are advising that during the hours of the curfews all persons within the boundaries are required to remain within their premises.

Residents of the area may only leave their homes after being given written authorisation by the member of the security forces, who is in charge of enforcing the curfew.
