The police have announced traffic changes for several roads in the vicinity of the National Arena, which will host the public session of the People’s National Party’s Annual Conference on Sunday.

The police are also advising delegates and supporters that they will be subjected to being searched before entering the arena.

The police say no weapons or items which can be used to cause serious harm or injury, will be allowed inside the venues.

Arthur Wint Drive will be operated as a one-way, beginning at North Avenue.

In addition, the section of Arthur Wint Drive between the Bob Marley statue and the main entrance to the National Arena will be converted to a pedestrian-only zone.

Members of the general public, including JUTC buses, will continue straight along Mountain View Avenue and will not be allowed to turn onto Arthur Wint Drive.
