Expect delays along Sir Florizel Glasspole Boulevard

2012-09-17 09:21:32 | (0 Comments)

Motorists are being advised to expect delays along the Sir Florizel Glasspole Boulevard in eastern Kingston starting today.

The National Works Agency (NWA), said a section of the western carriageway, in the vicinity of the Carib Cement Company, will be reduced to single-lane access.

The NWA said the traffic changes will apply between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. from today to Friday.

The disruption along the Sir Florizel Glasspole Boulevard is to facilitate underground drainage improvement works and the rehabilitation of a section of the roadway.

Motorists are being urged to proceed with caution and to obey posted warning signs and the directions of flag persons.
