2012-09-19 17:12:10 | (0 Comments)

The students and staff of Meadowbrook High School are to be provided with grief counselling following the death of a teacher at the institution.

The teacher, Orville Heaven, collapsed yesterday while teaching an Industrial Arts class.

A statement from the Ministry of Education said it has sent a team of guidance counsellors to the school to provide support.

The ministry has extended its condolences to Heaven’s family, as well as the staff and administration of the school.

It paid tribute to the teacher stating that he has been at the institution since September 1993.

Heaven was 43-years-old.
