NewsNational Contracts Commission to extend registration period2012-09-21 11:55:29 | (0 Comments)
The National Contracts Commission (NCC) says starting next month the period for registration of contractors will be extended from 12 months to 18 months.
In a media statement, the Commission said the notice applies to all Government of Jamaica Procuring Entities and all contracting firms desirous of obtaining NCC registration or re-registration. The new rule also applies to contractors, whose NCC registration expired in March and those applying for re-registration. However, the NCC made it clear that the new rule does not apply to contractors whose applications are being investigated by the Office of Contractor General or those who’ve been referred to the Central Investigation Bureau. editorial@gleanerjm.com Source: The Gleaner/Power 106 News Send your images, videos and updates to youreport@gleanerjm.com | Click here to Comment Your Comments
