Vice Prinicpals and Senior management of the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts are now meeting with the student body, in an effort to address complaints which led to a silent protest outside the institution this morning.

The school’s marketing manager, Lisa Marie Brown, said the students blocked the gate to show their displeasure with the administration, internet and library services of the college.

She said the college has been working to improve its services and facilities before today’s protest.

However, Brown said for some reason this was not communicated to the student body.

She said the procedure is that students meet with their student council representative and directors of each school, but today’s protesters decided to skip that step.

Nevertheless, the marketing manager said efforts are being made to address the students’ concerns.
