Netball – England beat Jamaica

Jamaica’s Sunshine Girls are now preparing to face England again after losing the opening match of their three-Test series at the LG Arena in London yesterday.

The Jamaicans lost the game 63-51 and will now focus on the second match on Monday in Liverpool.

Janielle Fowler led Jamaica yesterday with 20 goals from 21 attempts; Romelda Aikens had 18 from 22 and Anna-Kay Griffiths 13 from 15.

Jo Harten led England to victory with a game high 43 goals from 45 attempts; while Pamela Cookey scored 20 from 23 attempts.
