daCosta Cup resumes with 39 games

Defending champions Rusea’s High and Frome Technical will face off in a Zone ‘B’ top-of-the-table clash when the rural area ISSA/Gatorade Digicel daCosta Cup football competition resumes today with 39 games.

The game will take place at the Frome Sports Complex.

The day also features another top-of-the-table clash as last year’s beaten finalists St Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS), will host Munro in a Zone ‘E’ game in Santa Cruz.

Other interesting clashes include Green Pond against Cornwall College in Zone ‘A’, Godfrey Stewart facing Petersfield in Zone ‘D’ and Clarendon College hosting Lennon in Zone ‘H’.

All matches are scheduled to kick off at 3:30 in the afternoon.

There will be seven games across three groups in the urban area ISSA/Gatorade Digicel Manning Cup football competition today.

Defending champions St George’s will go in search of their third straight victory. The North Street-based school will host Cumberland at Winchester Park in Group ‘C’.

All seven matches are also scheduled to start at 3:30 in the afternoon.
