Illegal firearm, ammunition seized in Stony Hill

Four men were arrested in connection with seizure of an illegal firearm and several rounds of ammunition in St Andrew last night.

Their names have not been released as they are still to be interviewed in the presence of their attorneys.

It’s reported that shortly before 10 p.m. last night members of the St Andrew North Special Operations team were on patrol along the Pinto Main Road, in Stony Hill when they signalled a car with the four men to stop.

A search was conducted and the weapon found.
