CASE student stabbed by another

2012-09-25 14:25:57 | (0 Comments)

A first-year female student of the College of Agriculture, Science and Education (CASE) remains hospitalised in serious condition following a stabbing incident at the Portland-based institution on Sunday.

The student was reportedly stabbed several times with a pair of scissors by a final year female colleague.

It is reported that the victim was protesting about being repeatedly ragged by the senior student and her accomplices, when a heated argument developed.

During the exchange, the scissors were used to stab the first-year student.

She collapsed and was rushed to hospital, where she was admitted.

The alleged attacker and her accomplices have since been taken into police custody.

A member of the school administration says the incident has shocked the entire CASE family but was hopeful it would not sully the reputation of the institution.
