Alleged teenage abductors of schoolgirl to be charged

The police say criminal charges will be laid against two teenage boys who allegedly abducted a schoolgirl in Spanish Town, St Catherine on Tuesday.

The boys were arrested yesterday when the girl was rescued by police personnel.

The police say about 3 p.m. investigators went to a house in Spanish Town where the schoolgirl was found.

The two suspects who attend a private educational institution were then arrested.

Investigators say the boys could be charged with abduction and sexual related offences.

On Tuesday relatives of the victim reported her missing after she failed to return from school.
