Three released in ex cop's killing

Three of the four persons, who were custody in relation to the murder of retired Senior Superintendent of Police Anthony ‘Tony’ Hewitt have been released.

The police said this follows an identification parade yesterday, in which Jermaine Smith otherwise called ‘Duppy Bat’, Raymond Francis otherwise called ‘Redhead’ and Jomo McLeod otherwise called ‘Jomo’ were released from police custody.

The fourth person, Omar McDonald otherwise called ‘Devvy’ was charged for a murder which was committed in 2007.

Smith and Francis were both listed as persons of interest, while McLeod and McDonald voluntarily gave themselves up to the police.
