Accused in Lauriston beheading case return to court

The case against the five men charged for the beheading of a woman and her daughter in Lauriston, St Catherine is to be called up in court today.

The matter is being heard in the Home Circuit Court.

The men are Adrian Campbell, Fabian Smith, Kemar Riley, Rushane Goldson and Sanjay Ducally.

In addition to murder, they are also facing charges of illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.

It is reported that 19-year-old Joeith Lynch and her 49-year-old mother Charmaine Cover-Rattray were asleep at their Lauriston home on July 20 last year, when thugs kicked off their door, and entered the premises.

The men allegedly murdered the woman and her daughter, then cut off their heads and dumped them some distance away from the murder scene

The five men were arrested and charged following investigation by the police.
