NewsPM moving swiftly to tackle sexual offences2012-09-29 18:07:40 | (0 Comments) ![]() Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller The disclosure by Mrs Simpson Miller yesterday followed several peaceful protests across the island in support of victims of rape and other sexual offences. The protests were sparked by the rape of three young girls and two women in Irwin, St James, this week. Speaking on her return from the United Nations General Assembly, the Prime Minister said the regulations will include provision for the creation of a sex offenders’ registry.
