Elderly man killed in vehicle accident

A senior citizen has died as a result of injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle crash on the Drax Hall main road in St Ann last night.

He is 64-year-old Ransford Anglin, otherwise called ‘Danny’, of New Ground in Lime Hall in the parish

The St Ann’s Bay Police say about 11:45 last night, Anglin was walking along the roadway when he was hit by a motor vehicle. They say Anglin was taken to the St Ann’s Bay hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver has since been warned for prosecution.
