The police are advising that several roads in the corporate areas are now flooded as heavy rains continue.
They include: *Chelsea Avenue, Kingston 10 *Spanish Town Road (vicinity of Oakland Drive), Kingston 13 *Maxfield Avenue, Kingston 10 *Marcus Garvey Drive *Mandela Highway *Angels main road in Spanish Town, St. Catherine *Hagley Park Road (in the vicinity of Portia Simpson Miller Square) *Drew’s Pen Road (leads to Barry main road) *Barry main road The Bog Walk Gorge in St Catherine is now closed and motorists are being advised to exercise extreme caution when using the alternative Sligoville main road. Motorists are also being advised as much as possible, to stay indoors, as the police have observed several vehicles which have broken down along the roadway after developing mechanical difficulties.
