Spanish Town woman killed by flood waters

A Spanish Town woman was last night swept away in a taxi in flood waters in St Catherine.

She’s 19-year-old Alexa Douglas of Sandy Grove in Sligoville, Spanish Town.

The police say her body was found in Waterloo district this morning.



The police shortly after 9 o’ clock last night, Douglas was in a taxi which had to be abandoned because of flood waters.

Other passengers got out of the vehicle but Alexia was unable get out before the car was washed away.
