SportsUPDATE: Two Jamaican athletes tested positive for banned substances2012-10-02 12:16:48 | (0 Comments) ![]() Ricardo Cunningham, 800m runner - file photo. Two Jamaican athletes have been tested positive for banned substances. They are: Dominique Blake and Ricardo Cunningham, an 800m runner. Cunningham was tested positive for the substance pseudoephedrine. It was not immediately clear for what substance Blake tested positive. Blake went to the Olympics as part of the 4X400m relay team but did not run. Cunningham however did not qualify to go to the Olympics. Blake and Cunningham appeared this morning at a disciplinary hearing of the Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission. NOTE: Another female athlete was inadvertently named in an earlier version of this story but that female athlete was named in error. We regret the error and sincerely apologise for any embarrassment this may have caused. radio@gleanerjm.com Source: The Gleaner/Power 106 News Send your images, videos and updates to youreport@gleanerjm.com | Click here to Comment Your Comments
