ID parade delayed for St James rape suspects

WESTERN BUREAU:
The identification parade for the two suspects in the rape of five females in Irwin Point, St James, last Monday night, has been put on hold.

The two men, who are brothers, were due to go on an ID parade today, but The Gleaner understands that there has been a delay, as the police are collecting further evidence.

The men are being represented by a Legal Aid lawyer, who will watch the proceedings on their behalf.

The men have been in custody since last Thursday, however, they have not been charged.

Last Friday, they were questioned for several hours by detectives in Montego Bay.

The two were implicated after police intelligence led cops to their house in St James.
