No water for several parishes

2012-10-03 17:24:54 | (0 Comments)

The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising that a number of communities are either without piped water or are experiencing interruptions in their supply.

Some of the NWC affected systems are in St. Catherine, Portland, St. Mary and Clarendon.

Customers in some sections of St. James and Hanover are also experiencing interruptions in their water supply because of turbid conditions at the Great River Treatment Plant.

The NWC is seeking to assure that every effort is being made to resume normal operations at the earliest time possible.
