Bog Walk Gorge impassable

The police are advising that the Bog Walk Gorge in St Catherine is now impassable.

This is as a result of an overturned truck in the vicinity of the Flat Bridge.

Motorists are advised to use the alternative routes through Barry or Sligoville.

Around 9 o'clock last night, the truck with three persons aboard plunged into the Rio Cobre.

It's reported that the truck was heading towards Spanish Town along the Bog Walk Gorge when the driver lost control.

The vehicle then ended up in the river.

Emergency response personnel assisted by residents went in search of the crash victims.

Their bodies were found this morning.
