Forty-five year-old Michael Nicholas and his son, 18-year-old Travis, are among three men who died last night when their truck plunged into the Rio Cobre.

The other victim is Kemar Watt, 25.

A fourth worker was rescued by divers.

The truck, which was being driven towards Spanish Town by the elder Nicholas plunged into the river around 9 o'clock last night trapping all three inside.

It happened after the driver failed to properly negotiate the bridge.

This resulted in the rear right wheel of the trailer slipping off the bridge dragging the entire truck with it.
