2012-10-05 09:21:32 | with audio | (0 Comments)

The Police in St. James are warning rapists in the parish that they will be moving aggressively to bring them to justice.

The declaration was made as investigators announced that charges have been laid against two men, in relation to the attack on five female family members, in the community of Irwin Point in the parish.

The incident happened last Monday.

The youngest victim is an eight-old-girl, who is still receiving medical treatment and counselling.

Investigators say they are following leads in the deaths of two boys in Zion District and the killing of a saleswoman in Trelawny.

The woman was reportedly lured to a house, tied up, raped and then killed.

Head of the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse, Superintendent Gladys Brown Campbell, said her team will leave no stone unturned in pursuit of the perpetrators.

Superintendent Brown Campbell has given a strong warning to persons who carry out sexual crimes.
