James Golding is Commandant designate

2012-10-05 14:21:16 | (0 Comments)

The Deputy Head of the Island Special Constabulary Force (ISCF), James Golding will tomorrow officially become the head of this unit when he receives the baton from the current commandant, Osmond Bromfield.

The handing will take place during a parade to be held on the Parade Square at Harman Barracks on Saturday, October 6.

Golding’s promotion was announced earlier this year.

However, he could not officially take up the appointment until the current Commandant Bromfield completed his pre-retirement leave.

James Golding enlisted in the ISCF in 1981, rising to the level of Deputy Commandant in charge of Metro Operations.

He also served as general manager of the Transport Authority from 2006 to 2007, while on secondment from the ISCF.
